I’ve had this charger for a year now, no issues. It does just what it should, works great and charges the iPhone while in the car with no problem. A good buy.

The charger is difficult to push into the lighter far enough to start charging your phone but it does work well once it is in and has a light to let you know what it is charging. Can’t beat the price for something that charges your iPhone on the go! I would recommend it.

Doesnt work great on the iphone 1st generation…it suck charging the iphone. DONT BUY IT!

This product arrived quickly and charges my iphone in my car as it should. The only issue I have with it is that when I have my phone connected to this to charge, it causes some background noise in the sound quality of the music when I am also using my phone as an iPod in the car. When I unplug the charger, the noise goes away. I have not tried any other chargers, however, so that may just be a universal thing where all chargers cause background noise, but I can’t say for sure.

I decided to wait until I actually got a chance to use it longer than a few minutes. I don’t usually have to charge my iphone (1st gen)in the middle of the day and certainly not in the car but we went on a 6hr road trip and between texting, facebook, games and web surfing I needed to charge up. It worked great. Just like any average charger. My hubby has the 3G and he used it too w/ no problems.
